Radio One thanks you for participating in our most anticipated annual event, Women's Empowerment, held on Saturday, March 28 or April 4, 2009 at the RBC Center in Raleigh NC.
The following are some important information facts to keep in mind as you as prepare for the event.
1. Move-in is Saturday March 28 or April 4, 2009 beginning at 5:00 am and ending at 10:00 am. Check-in at the North loading dock of the RBC Center. For directions and hotel information call 919-861-2300 or go on-line at www.rbccenter.com For event updates, go on-line to

2. It is imperative that you check-in between 5:00 am and 9:00 am. The loading dock doors will close promptly at 10:00 am. Our goal is to have every exhibitor in the vendor pavilion, located on the third level, by 10:00 am. The RBC Center and Radio One will NOT provide carts. Bring your own.
3. All displays must be completed by 10:30 am. The venue doors will open promptly at 11:00 am. The event starts at 12 noon.
4. Exhibitors will receive location of exhibit space, exhibitor passes and parking pass at check-in.
EXHIBIT SPACE ASSIGNMENTS WILL NOT BE CHANGED DURING MOVE-IN.
5. Each 8' X 8' exhibit space will receive two (2) exhibitor passes and one (1) parking pass. If you ordered extra exhibitor passes (maximum of 2), they will be available at check-in. Exhibitor passes are not for seats in the arena.
6. Each vendor will receive one (1) parking pass for the North Parking Lot. Once you load in your merchandise, you will be directed to park your vehicle. Each 8' x 8' exhibit space receives one (1) parking pass. Additional free parking is located in Lot C. Extra parking passes are not available for purchase at the North loading dock. You may purchase general public parking passes for $10.00 per vehicle on the day of the event.
7. Extra exhibitor passes are available at check-in for $50.00 each. If you have already purchased two (2) extra exhibitor passes prior to event day, you will not be allowed to purchase extra exhibitor passes at
check-in.
8. Only four (4) people are permitted in one (1) 8' x 8' exhibit space.
9. Exhibitors are not allowed to bring tables or chairs. Extra tables and chairs can be rented from Southern Exhibitions. See additional forms from Southern Exhibitions. Additional tables and chairs will NOT be available for rent the day of the event.
10. Electricity and telephone connection must be requested by February 1, 2009. Electricity is $100. Telephone is $200. Internet connection is $200. None of the above can be requested after booth assignment or on the day of the show.
11. The sale of merchandise bearing the Women's Empowerment Expo name, logo or likeness is prohibited. Women's Empowerment Expo name, logo and likeness are a registered trademark of Radio One, Incorporated.
12. Exhibitors are not permitted to sell food or drinks.
13. Exhibitors are not permitted to sell unlicensed materials. The sale of audiotapes, videotapes and compact discs that are not licensed is prohibited.
14. Exhibitors are not permitted to display illicit merchandise, including sexual, drug related or profane materials.
15. No exhibit may interfere with other exhibits by way of objectionable sounds, noise, odor or obstructive
activities.
16. Exhibitors are not permitted to market products or services outside of the exhibit space.
17. Exhibitors are expected to keep the exhibit space clean and attractive at all times.
18. In order to provide a safe environment for the attendees of Women's Empowerment, exhibitors are NOT permitted to break down exhibit or move merchandise out of the venue until the event ends at approximately 8:00 pm or until an authorized Radio One representative gives permission to do so. Security will stop you if you attempt to move prior to the end of the event.
19. All exhibitor space applications/agreements are firm and non-refundable.
20. Due to the difficulty in forecasting buying habits of consumers, Radio One Incorporated, WQOK, WFXC/WFXK, WNNL and the RBC Center assume no responsibility regarding losses and/or profits of exhibitors' product and/or services at Women's Empowerment.
