Joi Whitley has always had a strong passion for numbers, calculations, and helping others. Joi attended Arizona State University from 2007-2012 and graduated with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies. A few months later is when she started Anointed Hands Tax Preparation, in April 2012. Joi completed the MBA program at Grand Canyon University in 2014 and worked as an advisor at GCU for nearly 5 years. Other jobs held were personal banker at Wells Fargo Bank and her last position as Graduate Program Coordinator for W.P. Carey’s School of Business at ASU.

Today and since August 2019, Joi has worked exclusively as an entrepreneur, for Anointed Hands Tax II Inc., as the owner and principal accountant. Taxes allows her to do what she loves, calculate numbers, educate, and help others. It’s bigger than taxes for her because taxes and accounting is about changing lives. Rachel Luba is a former competitive gymnast/boxer-turned-attorney and MLB player agent. She is the youngest certified female MLB Agent, and the only female to start her own Agency. However, not only is she breaking glass ceilings, she’s also bringing change and innovation to athlete representation. Her agency takes a modern approach to an antiquated system, embracing analytical data, social media, and offering a pay-per-service, hourly model, which allows athletes to receive more value for the cost of representation.

Rachel was a gymnast at UCLA and then attended Pepperdine Law. Rachel interned at Beverly Hills Sports Council, passed the Florida Bar, and then went on to work as an Attorney for the Major League Baseball Players Association where she helped take a record number 22 cases to hearing that year.

Rachel then launched her own firm, Luba Sports, in November 2019, signing her first client MLB All-Star pitcher, Trevor Bauer. Rachel soon became the first female to represent a Cy Young Winner. She also represents several MLB pitching coaches along with her Major League Baseball players. 

In January of 2021, Luba helped negotiate a record-breaking deal in Free Agency for Trevor Bauer, becoming the first female agent to negotiate a $100M+ contract. Bauer’s contract negotiated by Luba was the first ever contract to guarantee a MLB player $40M+ in a single season.

Outside of her role as a player agent, Rachel co-hosted Cork’d Up podcast with Oakland A’s sideline reporter Jessica Kleinschmidt. Rachel has been featured in the LA Times, SF Chronicle, Bloomberg TV, Bloomberg Podcasts, New York Post, Yahoo! Sports, The Athletic, ESPN Radio, and many other top outlets.
